Parenting Essentials: Stress, Anxiety and Teenage Girls
Dr. Lisa Damour is a proud mother of two engaging girls and a Yale educated psychotherapist who writes the monthly adolescent’s column for the New York Times. She serves as a regular contributor to CBS news, maintains a private psychotherapy practice, and the executive director of Laurel’s School Center for Research on Girls. She is the author of Under Pressure: Confronting the Epidemic of Stress and Anxiety in Girls. Not surprisingly, she is affectionately sometimes called the teen whisperer.
